This summer we took a big road trip that took us on a one day tour of Yellowstone. We saw Yellowstone lake, Fishing Bridge, the falls, geysers, especially Old Faithful, mud pots, bison, an elk, a bear, and snow. … Until that moment I had not realized we were one of the sights. Keep reading

Pinterest isn’t a bad place to find ideas, to find a starting point to mix, mash, and modify to make it your own. But wouldn’t it be better to spend more time trying to live an inspiring life rather than an inspired one? Keep reading

I’ve long kept a mental running list of the things that we’ve lost in our house. Something is always missing. Sometimes I even put a post-it up for each thing we’re missing to remind me to keep an eye out for them. Eventually everything turns up, often when we aren’t actively looking. Keep reading

So maybe I’ll just keep them with me for a while longer. Keep reading
Remember

Terrorists had tried to instill fear and separation with the result of us coming together in love and unity. Fifteen years later we don’t need the terrorists to separate us, we’re doing a pretty good job of that on our own. We would do better to remember the good that day brought out in everyone, remember to believe in the good we all have in us. Keep reading

I love that Iddo calls them happy birthdays. … She knows we have to have my happy birthday, Brett’s happy birthday, and Shimri’s and Shimei’s happy birthdays before it’s her happy birthday again. That’s a lot of happy. Keep reading
