The trouble with quilting late at night is realizing at 2 in the morning that you are going to need 6.5 more inches of a fabric inorder for the quilt top you are piecing to look like it is complete. I have a baby blanket all laid out on my floor, and it just looks unfinished if I don’t add an extra row to it. But if I add an extra row I’m going to need four more blocks. And I just don’t have enough fabric to do that right now. So I’m going to have to leave it there on the floor and go to the fabric store when I get up tomorrow. Otherwise I’d have another quilt top all finished by now.
