What I learned about earthquakes

I learned that Utah has about 700 earthquakes and aftershocks every year. That’s almost two a day. Most are so small that nobody ever feels them. But if you want to keep track of them, I found two websites that have real neat maps where you can see all the earthquakes that have happened in the last hour, the last day, and the last week. The University of Utah Seismograph Station has information about Utah. And for information about the world you can check out the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Hazards Program website. Fun stuff.
