:star: Cleaning out my saved files I found a bunch of Astronomy Photograph of the Day photos that I really liked but hadn’t gotten around to sharing yet. So here we go.
- 4 July 2009 – Mount Rushmore’s Starry Night
- 28 July 2009 – A Floral Aurora Corona – I think these things are one of the most lovely things in nature. Some day before I die I’d like to get far enough north to see them.
- 18 December 2009 – Southern Geminids – It’s like looking at forever.
- 19 December 2009 – Aurora Shimmer, Meteor Flash – Magic. It’s like magic I tell you.
- 25 December 2009 – A Graceful Arc – Lovely. There is definitely beauty in the creations of the universe.
- 15 January 2010 – Scenes from Two Hemispheres – Orion was the constellation I could identify when I was in Brasil. But he was standing on his head.
- 18 January 2010 – Eclipse over the Temple of Poseidon – Ancient. It’s looking at ancient.
- 20 January 2010 – The Known Universe – A pretty cool view of everything we’ve ever seen. And there’s still more out there.
- 6 March 2010 – Pillar at Sunset – I love a good sunset.
- 22 April 2010 – Venus, Mercury, and Moon – How cool is this shot! I love watching the skies.
- 28 April 2010 – Sunset on a Golden Sea – Another gorgeous sunset. I’m not near water enough to see these, but when I get the chance, I love seeing the heavens reflected in the earth.
- 14 May 2010 – Iguaçu Starry Night – I’ve never actually been to the falls. But I’ve been near enough to them that I feel like I have. Some day maybe I’ll actually get there.
- 19 May 2010 – Milky Way Over Ancient Ghost Panel – The stars watch everything. The same stars you are looking at are the ones the ancients watched.
- 23 June 2010 – Sunset from the International Space Station – Now that’s a sunset to watch!
- 1 September 2010 – Earth and Moon from Messenger – Really one to give you perspective.
