Happy Earth Day!
It was while I was teaching that I really got into this day. Or at least the recycling part of it. Our school had a crazy recycling contest each Spring. Us “others” teachers (those without regular classrooms), started hoarding all of our junk mail throughout the whole year to bring in during the contest. It’s absolutely insane how many pounds of junk mail one house gets during a single year. INSANE! I don’t hoard it any more (no contest to save it for), but we do recycle all unwanted paper at our house. I just can’t throw away paper any more after that contest.
Today I will be enjoying the earth with a run around the neighborhood. The weather is being absolutely lovely for a run today. And then I’m going to try and get out and work on our yard some. I love having a yard. I love working in it. I just wish the neighborhood cats would stop using it for their litter box. :annoy:
:daisy: The flowers we have are absolutely gorgeous though. I’ll get some pictures to put up. LOVE the colors.
And of course if it isn’t too windy and rainy I’ll sit outside and read. Ah the beauties of a back porch
You can find pictures of the flowers in our yard on Ooh Shemo. They really are pretty.
