Ever since my first year teaching at Mount Mahogany Elementary school I’ve set five goals for myself at the start of each year. And I’ve had some great adventures with those. I’m still setting my five goals, but this post is about something different.
I was trying to think of what I want to get out of this year, what kind of year do I want it to be. So far this is what I have.
In 2013 I want:
- more growth
- more wonder
- more bubble baths
- more hammock time
- more completions
- more peace
- more adventure
- more order
- more insight
- more gratitude
I’m excited to see what will happen this year, and the form that those desires will take.
What do you hope to get out of this year?
Less growth (or is that more negative growth?) Watching the Biggest Loser was a start, but watching the Biggest Loser with a nice tall glass of egg nog while being grateful that Jillian Michaels wasn’t kicking me out of anywhere for it, maybe was a little counterproductive. :brett:
To be honest, anything at this point could beat 2012 for us! We are looking ahead and 2013 is going to be the IT year! I hope all of your goals are achieved, I could definitely work on “more completions”.
More gratitude expressed to those I love.
And I do love and appreciate you so much.

I’ll take less stress.
More time with my husband than last year! Considering he was only my husband for two weeks of last year, and was only around for about 8 months, I think we’ll get there.
