There was one, there were two, there were three little angels –
There were four, there were five, there were six little angels –
There were seven, there were eight, there were nine little angels –
Ten little angels in the band.
Wasn’t that a band, Sunday morning, Sunday morning, Sunday morning
Wasn’t that a band, Sunday morning soon.
When the perfect day for a parade falls on a Sunday you get a different kind of parade. I remember my mom singing this song and getting up to forty or more angels in the band. That’s quite the angel band.
What else would be in a Sunday morning parade?
That was the first song I sang to you about 20 minutes after you born on a Sunday Morn.
Ok now back to the Parade.
How about families walking to church. 🙂
OK. I admit it. I don’t get it. :brett:
It’s a parade (March Fo(u)rth!). But it’s on Sunday. So it has to be a different type of parade. Angels would be something you might see in a parade on Sunday. What else might be in a Sunday parade? :lisa:
And you were post #2222! Go you.
Dang it, on Sunday I realized it was March Fo(u)rth and was looking forward to your parade post and decided I wanted to be in a Shriner clown car zooming around. However! Different theme this year!
I always love the missionaries from the MTC that march in the Fourth of July parade in Provo. Also, maybe Primary kids dressed as pioneers and singing songs?
We’re definitely going to need a lot of tiny clown cars zooming around for a Monday parade next year. Hold on to the car.
Done and done.
I missed this, but next year I either want to be in a big sparkly dress on a big sparkly float, or riding in one of those fancy convertibles.
