Brett and I regularly tell each other “Be good and learn something.” I thinking of making a quilt wall hanging that says that.
Today my mom and I did learn something. We learned that there are four types of skunks in the Tucson area. More types of skunks than anywhere else.
Also, the ring-tail is the state mammal of Arizona. And it can smell like a skunk when it’s scared.
What did you learn today?

I am an educator and PhD. I quilt, belly dance, run, read, and try to grow things. I am a Mormon. I am infertile. I am a daughter, sister, aunt, grand-daughter, friend, wife, and mom.

I learned that the space shuttle had a successful launch for the last time in history.
By the way, I never worry about you and Brett being good and learning something. I think it is a way of life for you. 😀
I learned that there are only 4 astronauts this time, instead of the usual 6 or 7, because there are no rescue shuttles and if something goes wrong, they only lose 4. It’s sad, I suppose, but makes sense.
