Last night Brett saw Harry Potter. Which meant I got to see it a second time (he stayed home to keep the bed warm while I went to the midnight opening). There were so many things I noticed this time around that I didn’t have time to take in the first time. I still absolutely love the movie. There are so many little things about it that I love. Still don’t like the snake. I wrapped myself in Brett during the major snake scenes this time. That’s a super evil snake.
All day today I’ve had this song going through my head. It’s the song Harry and Hermoine dance to. It is both hauntingly melancholy while also having a good dance beat. I can’t think of any other song that has those same qualities.
Now to figure out when I’m going to see the movie a third time. Brett and I have been talking about the movie and the rest of the book today. I’m thinking I need another Harry Potter birthday party next year.
Not that I have a real frame of comparison, but I’m sure the 8:05 showing is much better than the midnight one. :brett:
They have a different feel in the room.
Did you notice that at one point both the lady in front of us and the lady in the back of us said, within seconds of each other, “He’s growing jealous”? I thought that was funny.
I’m envious of you both. Date-nights out are rare, mostly because they’re expensive. 🙂 Waiting for the rental………….
Our date-nights are usually in watching Chuck.
He knows I have a slight Harry Potter obsession, so he indulges me every once in a while.
Why is this song not on the soundtrack? What were they thinking?
