Origami ornaments were a tradition on our tree growing up. Oddly, we don’t have any on our tree this year. We do, however, have several made out of pipe-cleaners. This tree at the American Museum of Natural History takes origami ornaments to a whole new level.
I’ll have to try my folding fingers for next year’s tree.
Finally catching up on lots of blog reading back in Montreal! This is such an awesome idea. I love paper, and now that I’ve switched over to making mostly digital scrapbooks, I need to use up my stash of scrapbook paper. Lovely.
With my parents back at the beginning it was because they were too poor to afford ornaments so they folded some out of wrapping paper. I think they might still have one or two of those original ones left, which would be amazing after 33 years of Christmases.
