I remember once when I was little asking my mom one afternoon what was on TV. She told me, “Rabbit ears,” and I ran to the TV and asked what channel. Sounded like a fun show to me.
We don’t watch a lot of TV, just a handful of shows. But it’s definitely been a good TV week for me so far.
First off, Chuck and Sarah finally got together. YEA!! :woot:
She couldn’t love him when she thought he would shoot to kill. But shooting to save is a whole other issue.
Does my heart good.
Then on Biggest Loser, Melissa is gone. Again! I actually think she got it wrong. The other contestants are playing the game. It’s just not the same one she’s playing. They’re playing the “lose weight” game. She’s playing the “win money” game. My money is on everyone else to actually make the changes in their life to keep the weight off. I much prefer when people play the “lose weight” game.
Finally, not a show we watch but one I’ve seen commercials for. What’s the deal with celebrity game shows (currently, Celebrity Apprentice)? They are playing the game to donate money to the winner’s favorite charity. How about if all those celebrities just donate their own money instead of competing to donate somebody else’s money? Then all of their charities get money instead of just one.
Also, must stop eating jelly beans. Brett should eat more than a handful from the bag.
I am very happy about Chuck and Sarah!!
I enjoy Celebrity Jeopardy (it’s the whole reason I started TiVoing Jeopardy this year), but pretty much every other celebrity show seems to be more about extending their usual amount of fame time than about winning for their charity. I mean, really Kate Gosselin? You have 8 kids and are going through a nasty divorce. You really think now is the time to take dancing lessons across the country instead of being with the kids? Yikes.
Jeopardy is definitely its own category. That one’s okay. But the rest are more like desperate grabs for ratings for both the has-been celebrity and has-been show.
