I’ve discovered that I get more reading done when I go to school. I have an hour and a half on the bus where it’s easier to avoid weird people if I’m reading. But now that it’s spring break, I need to find other ways to be productive.
So yesterday, on the unofficial start of the break, I pulled weeds for 2.5 hours, discovering only today just how much of a work-out that was. Ouch!
And then I cleaned the kitchen and made a delicious potato soup in the crockpot (six potatoes, half a ham, the rest of the onion we had, parsley flakes, 4 chicken bouillon cubes, garlic; and then milk and corn starch to thicken).
After that I managed to get the floors all cleaned, half the bathrooms cleaned, and one load of laundry done too.
That’s a good start to a week. There’s still the weeds in the backyard, but they’re going to have to wait. Today we’ll finish up the laundry and possibly tackle the closets.
I’m too busy doing other things the rest of the semester. I need to make good use of the days I’m not riding the bus.
(Shhh! Be very, very quiet. Lisa is sleeping now. Right before she went down she said she didn’t know why she was so tired. I could take a stab at it, I think.) :penguin:
:x: closets.
They are starting to look more like regular rooms and less like storage rooms.
