… should you choose to accept it, is to write a story. It doesn’t have to be a long one. It doesn’t even necessarily have to be a good one. But it does have to follow a certain format.
Remember seeing stories where they used pictures in the place of words? Like this one, “The Magic Window.” Some times they use a picture. Some times they used a rebus for the word.
The images for your story are the smilies/emoticons I have available on my blog here. If there are some other ones you think I should have that you could also use in your story, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. You can label/rename any of them that you need to for your story, like how they labeled Pedro and Mother in “The Magic Window.”
Stories will get points for creative use of smilies and for the percentage of smilies to written out words. Stories will also get points just because I like points, especially brownie points.
Ready, Go!
Oooooh! I’ll do it. Hope there’s no deadline… because it’s gonna take me till the end of the month probably. :star:
Yippy! No, no time limit. I’m going to do it too. It might be as hard as some of my papers this semester. Definitely more fun though. We shall see what I come up with. π
Huzzah! I quite like it! π
Attempt #1
One :sun: -y day, π (Eve) went to pick :apple: :apple: :apple: . She had :book: they were tasty. She  -ed to eat. It made her π . But a giant :turtle: had eaten all the :apple: :apple: :apple: . She was π . She started to ;-( . She got  at the :turtle: . Then an :elephant: sat on the :turtle: . The :turtle: stopped eating :apple: :apple: :apple: . Now π is π again.
(This story sounds like something my fourth grade :computer: students would :pencil: .)
(Please do better!)
Laughter. Tears. Can’t. Stop. The elephant is just so random. I love it!
