It’s possible I sew too much.
I’m working on a ruffle to go around the edge of a king sized quilt. So I have to end up with 408 inches of ruffle when I’m finished. I’m a bit more than half way through and a small metal plate on the ruffler that tells it when to ruffle just broke off. So no more ruffling. Dang! I was hoping to get that finished and on the quilt tonight. 🙁
Last year I was quilting my nephews quilt and broke the metal bar on my darning foot that makes that go up and down and had to go buy a new one of those.
At least the sewing machine is still going strong, right?
And while I’ve been messing with those and figuring out that it’s the small metal plate that was broke, I’ve been waiting for my Palm to do something other than a white screen, and it’s not cooperating. Today just isn’t working out the way I’d planed. :straight:
But I did sleep with a sheet over me for the first time since probably February last night. Normally I just throw back the sheets and sleep on top of them because it’s so hot. So that’s a good sign.
