I’m a self-proclaimed computer geek. I have two at home and I frequently have both of them on. Brett jokingly mentioned the other day that if Google ever goes out of business we’d lose half our lives. Which made my heart stop for a moment because all of our wedding plans are with Google documents. Getting rid of computers would change how I live and communicate.42D
But getting rid of people would change how I communicate even more. Just the other day I was talking to someone about how it doesn’t feel like youth today know how to communicate directly with people any more, only through computers.
Which is why I’m not sure if I find this clip cute, or just sad. The song used to be about the people you’d find in your neighborhood.

Personally, I try to use the computer to organizing real-life meetups as well as chatting day to day. I hope my compy isn’t replacing people yet!
