Yesterday I crossed a line I never thought I’d see.
Last August I wrote out a list of all the sewing projects I had in my house. I ordered them by when I should probably have them done and if they were for me or for Christmas or for somebody else. There were a lot of things on my list. As I finished them I moved them to the end of the list and crossed them off. I’ve added things here and there as stuff has come up as well. So now there are 51 things on the list.
As of yesterday I’ve crossed the line where more than half of the things on the list are crossed off. Woo hoo!!! :woot: Twenty-seven things are crossed off, twenty-four left to do. And some of those are Christmas ideas for the next few years. So I’m way ahead of the game on that one.
This is a very good feeling. There are 9 things left on my priority sewing list for this year. Three of those just need some finishing touches, two of them are my dresses for my wedding, two are for Christmas this year (yes, I’m almost half way through my Christmas projects for this year!). This is a doable list. I like it.
Now the challenge will be to keep it a small list and to get a lot more things crossed off before I start adding new things.
way to Go 🙂
I finished 28 this afternoon. I’ll probably have 29 finished this evening. Yeah! And since I started the list last August, that means I’ve averaged more than 2 sewing projects each month. Ten of those were quilts or blankets.
