I turned in my last paper of the semester today. I’m all done being a student until August now. I have to finish giving a final on Friday and then we’ll call this whole semester over and I get three weeks of absolutely nothing before I start grading and then teaching for the summer. It should be a good summer.
I’ve been taping my thumb when I go out and taking the tape off when I’m at home. I didn’t tape it up all weekend though. It really does feel like it is getting better. But last night it let me know in no uncertain terms that it is not ready to live life without support yet. So it’s taped again. I’m getting near the end of the second roll of tape. I’ll have to get a third roll this weekend.
The Arizona garden experiment is still going. Some of it is going better than other parts. But I’ll keep trying. I figure the growing season is between the end of January and the first of December, so I have plenty of time to get something. The roses are blooming and are so pretty. Brett says my tomato isn’t a baby tomato any more, now it’s a toddler tomato. And the lettuce is doing much better this second time around. I’m going to have to try a second time with the spinach though. I got to sit in my garden and study my scriptures this morning while watching two hummingbirds and a small little sparrow type bird eat breakfast at Café Giggles.42D
All in all, life is going real well, better than I could’ve imagined in a lot of ways.
Big Yea for everything 😀
I want to visit Cafe Giggles, it sounds good. Do you serve some of your delicious food? I am glad that you are gardening, I love it!
Café Giggles only serves sugar water and thistle seed right now. But it does offer a nice atmosphere for enjoying a morning read.
