I must sing the praises of the ILL, inter-library loan. I have decided that I want to always be associated with a place of higher education just so I can always have access to this system. Pretty much any book I’ve wanted lately (for my alphabetical book reading challenge this year, and other reasons) has not been at the physical library I have available. Yet if I think of a book I want, it is a simple matter of filling out a form on the internet, waiting a few days for an e-mail, walking from the education building across the mall (think DC type mall not shopping mall) to the library, and get the book. This is a beautiful thing! It’s the wonderfulness of a library (free books!) multiplied by access to pretty much any book anywhere. The product is astronomical! :woot:
