What an amazing day today is! March 2nd.
It’s Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Happy 105th Birthday! We had Dr. Seuss Hat Day at school a few years ago. So I wore as many hats as I could get on my head. It was a bit heavy, but fun. The kids kept giving me a bad time that I was just supposed to wear one hat, but I told them that it wasn’t “one hat day” but “hat day.” They thought I was silly (they thought that most days anyway). I felt a bit like Bartholomew Cubbins.
The next year I went as the Fox from Fox in Socks for book character day.
Today is also the 173 anniversary of the independence of Texas. Texas, our Texas! All hail the mighty State!
And both of those thoughts are much more pleasant than looking at the unpleasantness that is my taxes this year.
Wow. And tomorrow is Square Root Day! 3.3.09
And Wednesday is a perfect day for a parade. I’ll have another parade this week.
What a great week!
Deep in the heart of Texas! *clap clap clap*
You failed to mention Sam Houston’s birthday. Happy Birthday Sam Houston!
You are one cute fox!
