My favorite things

When Oprah does her “favorite things” show, she gives everyone in the audience her favorite things. I can’t really do that. But these are some things that make me happy and some of the things that are on my “some day” list.

I love socks. And the socks at Sock Dreams make me fairly giddy. They have fun colors and stripes and the knee highs and it’s just so much fun!

We all need a little chocolate. And these are my new favorite bag of chocolate to grab – Hershey’s Bliss. I don’t know what’s different about them, but they taste great. I love the dark chocolate ones.

They’re like flowers, but you can eat them! Edible Arrangements are pretty, and they have yummy fruit. What a brilliant idea!

This place has the BEST sandwhiches – Beyond Bread. They are sooo yummy and have so many different varieties. And the tarts are simply delicious, and have a whole cup of fruit on them too, so they have to be good for you, right?

I think if I had a job where I sat at a desk all day, I’d definitely have more things from the Office Playground store. As it is I have a miniature garden, a star stress squeeze thing, and a dozen wind-up shoes. Oh, and a liquid timer I used when I was tutoring.

Some day I want a back splash or a counter top with tiles like these from Tiles with Style. They’re quilts!

I am quite the geek and would wear these Famous Mathematicians shirts to more places than is probably socially acceptable. With my cool knee high socks of course. I do celebrate Pi Day after all.

And I like putting fun things in my hair. Because I think my hair is pretty. And I’ve recently discovered that a former roommate of mine makes some dang cute hair bow thingys and sells them on the internet at BowSweet. How does she get the ribbon to do that?

Since I’m not too terribly impressed with the U of A’s library, I’ve decided to make Inter Library Loan my new best friend. And my book I requested is already available! Now to finish my B book so I can go read my C book.

And have I mentioned how much I love a good brain clearing run lately? Or how about ice cream? Because those are good too.

I can’t forget to mention Tucanos either. Hands down my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately I’m not in Utah very often. But they do have a Brazilian churrasco in Phoenix I might have to try soon.
