I’m turning 30 next month. And that keeps striking me as quite a milestone that needs to be celebrated. Saturday it came to me to make a quilt to commemorate my presence on earth for three decades. An appropriate quilt would describe what I have been doing for those 30 years and who I have become. It would have 30 squares, one for each year. I’ve decided that the squares will be appliquéd. So then I had to think of what those 30 squares would have on them.
This is what I’ve come up with.

What would a quilt of your life have on it? Remember, you need one square for each year you’ve been alive. Answer here or put it on your own blog and let me know you did it.
I think it would be fun to put 54 of my favorite poems that I have written on quilt squares. Then I could wrap up in my words.

I think you should do it. That would be great. Start picking them and I’ll start looking into the supplies so you could just print the poems right on the fabric.
