This is a list of some of the odd thoughts that cross my mind as I’m packing.
- Just how many Sharpies am I going to misplace doing this?
- There is a lot of ocean on the world.
- Wow. All you have to do is clear the bookcases and take everything off the walls and it really doesn’t look like a home any more.
- And the pliers are…
- The packing tape is…
- Not misplacing the tape every other box would really help this go faster.
- It’s probably a fire hazard to have the boxes stacked in front of the door like that.
- It’s not going to fit. It’s not going to fit. It’s not going to fit. It’s not going to fit.
- How’d they get it to all fit?
- It doesn’t look like my house any more.
Who knew that stuff made a difference

How’d they get it all to fit? VERY carefully.
I promise I was very very careful in packing all of your stuff in the truck. I hope it all makes it to Arizona in good condition!
I’ll admit that I was worried for a little bit as people kept carrying more and more and more stuff to the truck. But II kept finding more and more empty nooks and crannies to put stuff in.
When we moved to our new house, I believed in the miracle of the loaves and the fishes as we unloaded the crawlspace. There was no way that much stuff was in that crawlspace, yet we kept carrying load after load after load out of that place…
Remind me to never move EVER again.
Looks like we switched worries then, Mr. Me. Because I was worried up until all of you told me it would fit without any problem, and I believed you. Those are some pretty good Tetris skills that you got it all in there.
I’ll have to make sure I get stuff up on my walls quick down there so that it feels like my place again.
Mad Tetris skilz, yo. That was good times. I’ve never packed a table quite like that…
