This week it has been made clear to me that people who are not morning people should not try to decide in the morning what they are going to wear. They should decide the night before.
I’m normally not full alert till about 10 or so in the morning, so getting up between 6:30 and 7:00 to go to work can be interesting. I forget all kinds of little things while I am getting ready too. And if I have to take something I don’t normally take, I’ll leave it at home unless I put it by the door before I go to bed.
Tuesday morning I thought I’d picked out a good outfit. Everything matched when I was putting them on. But about 11:00 I looked down and saw what I was wearing. I had on a light peach shirt, olive green pants (that are about two inches too short because apparently my legs are too long), cream socks, and brown shoes. How did I think any of that would match?
Last night I looked in my closet before going to bed and decided what I would wear today. I even thought about how I would do my hair this morning. I look much better today.
Those colors work for me. Just not the short pants and cream socks. 😀 But Then I’m a night person too. I need a better light in the closet at Wabash because I have put a skirt and top on thinking the blue greens were same the color. Then when I get outside I see that they clash terribly. :p I hate it when that happens. 😯
