My mom has a lesson plan around this book that I’ve used several times, and I know she has too. It’s a great book to read at the beginning of a school year. Then you can have the students trace their own foot on a piece of paper and write about themselves on the foot and put them up on the wall. So that’s what I think about with this book.
And when I think about my own feet, I think about how weird they are and how they don’t work exactly right any more, but they still get me where I need to go. Some day I want to trade my feet in for a newer model. 🙂
